Sujata Purohit, MD, is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist in Dearborn, MI, at Tukel Eye Center, specializing in cataract surgery, the treatment of glaucoma, eyelid surgery, comprehensive eye care, and the treatment of corneal disease. Dr. Purohit earned her undergraduate degree with high distinction in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. She then completed her medical degree at University of Michigan Ann Arbor, followed by an internship at Case Western Reserve, a Fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery at Shiley Eye Institute University of California, San Diego, and Residency at University of Texas.
Outside of the office, Dr. Purohit enjoys community theater performances, road trips (especially in the lovely Michigan fall), traveling with friends and family, film, photography, and trail hiking. She is currently accepting new patients at this time.
